<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Therapist works under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor/Manager and is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, therapy, counseling, and support services for a diverse caseload including adults, adolescents, and families. Services may be provided via telehealth, outpatient offices, and/or community-based settings. The Licensed Therapist will be working with adults with our Mobile Crisis Team.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate the values and guiding principles of OhioGuidestone every day, performing with the </li></ul> <p>highest standards of excellence, integrity and ethics.</p> <ul> <li>Respond to behavioral health emergencies in a culturally responsive manner to support clients in </li></ul> <p>a framework and manner that acknowledges their unique and intersecting personal and cultural</p> <p>identities.</p> <ul> <li>Provide consultation to internal and external providers regarding access to mobile response </li></ul> <p>services, risk mitigation, triage of care, and other clinical/operational topics</p> <ul> <li>Assist with crisis de-escalation, behavioral health assessment, and decision-making related to </li></ul> <p>appropriate levels of care.</p> <ul> <li>Identify appropriate interventions for clients in crisis, working effectively to access appropriate </li></ul> <p>resources, and engaging community partners to develop an effective plan for supporting clients.</p> <ul> <li>Provide stabilization of immediate crises, short-term treatment including crisis intervention, </li></ul> <p>individual and family therapy, service coordination, and referrals to ongoing services.</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a liaison to coordinate, make referrals, or arrange for appropriate community resources </li></ul> <p>when needed, acts as an advocate for the client as needed.</p> <ul> <li>Conduct regular follow-up and stabilization support in compliance with Adult Mobile Crisis </li></ul> <p>guidelines.</p> <ul> <li>Comply with workflows and data collection requirements for Adult Mobile Crisis. </li><li>Participate in regular supervision, regional team meetings, and training sessions. </li><li>Adhere to all relevant ethical, legal, and professional standards. </li><li>Exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or </li></ul> <p>required.</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate positive leadership; promote a team-based work environment and a culture of </li></ul> <p>belonging.</p> <ul> <li>Present the Agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts. </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field </li><li>LSW, LPC, LMFT or equivalent. </li><li>1-2 years working with adults in behavioral health or crisis setting with specific experience </li></ul> <p>experience in diagnosis of psychopathology, treatment of severe behavior disorders, treatment of</p> <p>abuse and neglect related disorders, treatment of children at risk for hospitalization and out of</p> <p>home place preferred.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Mission driven; strong desire to make an impact </li><li>Strong clinical assessment and crisis intervention skills </li><li>Knowledge of trauma-informed care, child development, and family systems </li><li>Effective interpersonal skills; able to speak effectively with individuals and/or groups of people </li><li>Ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and good professional judgment </li><li>Effective computer literacy skills, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and </li></ul> <p>electronic health records, etc.</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to access work locations, offices, and homes as necessary, which may include </li></ul> <p>ascending/descending stairs.</p> <ul> <li>Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in crisis environments. </li><li>Possess a valid Ohio Driver's License with a safe driving record and valid insurance. </li><li>Successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including drug tests, background checks, and </li></ul> <p>any other required assessments, such as a physical examination and TB test.</p> <p>Benefits include:</p> <ul> <li>Free CEU trainings </li><li>Competitive medical benefits at a low monthly cost & different family plans to explore. </li><li>Ten paid holidays; some are exchangeable </li><li>Flexible work schedules to support work/life balance </li><li>Flexible work opportunities to support varying career paths, job roles, intern to hire, and locations </li><li>401(k) with employer match option </li><li>Employment Assistance Program (EAP) </li><li>Mileage reimbursement </li><li>Monthly bonus program </li><li>Recognition and rewards </li></ul> <p>At OhioGuidestone we care about the healt</p> <ul> <li>Funding sources may require OhioGuidestone to hire an advanced degree. </li></ul> <p>At OhioGuidestone we care about the health and safety of our employees.
