<p>Registered Nurse (RN)</p> <p>Job Type: Full Time</p> <p>Shift: Day or Nights</p> <p>36 hour weeks (12 hour shift)</p> <p>Community Rehabilitation Hospital North is a state-of-the-art, 60-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness.</p> <p>Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.</p> <p>Community Rehabilitation Hospital North strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.</p> <p>We are accredited by both The Joint Commission and CARF for our Stroke and Amputation Specialty Programs as well as CARF-accredited for our Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Brain Injury Specialty Programs.</p> <p>What you will do in this role:</p> <p>Administer nursing care to ill or injured persons by assisting in caring for patients by giving direct care. The RN will coordinate and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients hospitalized for treatment of substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric or emotional disorders. The RN will assume direct responsibility for observation, delegation, and leadership of the unit staff and patients. The RN will serve actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, supporting the organization, program, and unit philosophy of care. The RN will ensure the safety and well-being of each patient. The RN ensures all medical orders are followed, initiates and follows treatment planning, and acts as a patient advocate at all times.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Will assess the patient and plan care within set time-frames and document findings according to policies. </li><li>Will oversee and supervise the shift.
