Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. The position will report to the Engineering Manager. The Maintenance Supervisor will support plant facilities, the maintenance of existing equipment and the implementation of new machinery and processes in order to drive continuous improvement in safety, product quality and process efficiency.</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation. </li><li>Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods. </li><li>Solid understanding of technical aspects of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, etc. </li><li>Strong background in machine troubleshooting. </li><li>Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow. </li><li>Assists in design of machinery and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. </li><li>Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. </li><li>Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. </li><li>Robotics experience a plus but not required. </li><li>Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment. </li><li>Exceptional problem solving and decision-making abilities. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Manage relationships with contractors and service providers. </li><li>Allocate workload and supervise facilities maintenance. </li><li>Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities. </li><li>Ability to keep track of and report on activity. </li><li>Maintain PM program. </li><li>Assist in CAPEX plan and plant operating budget. </li><li>Willingness to work flexible and extended hours as necessary to support production needs. </li><li>Performs other tasks or duties assigned. </li><li>Knowledge on E-Maintenance program a plus. </li><li>PLC Programming knowledge a plus. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>3 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and supervisory experience.</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
