Apply now to now to help transform behavioral health care in New Haven!</p> <p>GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Provide quality clinical services for a full range and volume of agency cases under regular supervision.</p> <p>Successfully engage clients in services as demonstrated by client treatment completion rates, increased client functioning and client completion of treatment plan objectives.</p> <p>Formulate psychosocial evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans with supervisory support.</p> <p>Formulate mutually agreed-on and measurable treatment goals and objectives.</p> <p>Carry out appropriate treatment plans, according to agency best practice standards, and evaluate the progress throughout treatment and at termination.</p> <p>Provide assessment and treatment through individual, family and group treatment modalities while tailoring the helping strategies and treatment modalities to the client's stage of change or recovery.</p> <p>Integrate evidence based practice into client service delivery.</p> <p>Consistently evaluate and treat co-occurring disorders and link to appropriate supports.</p> <p>Locate and coordinate the provision of appropriate supportive services and community resources as appropriate.</p> <p>Demonstrate respect and nonjudgmental attitudes toward clients in all contacts with clients, community professionals and agencies.</p> <p>May supervise interns. Monitors performance of the interns supervised. Monitoring includes assignment, coverage and flow of service cases within one's program(s).</p> <p>Participate in ongoing supervision, consultation, staff meetings, and appropriate training.</p> <p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Master's degree in the mental health field with a minimum of an associate's level license (LMSW, LPC-A, etc.). Clinical experience with children preferred. Candidate must meet licensure standards established by the State of Connecticut and the Council on Accreditation. Licensure requirements as well as continuing education requirements are expected to be maintained. Independent licensure preferred (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.). Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or English/Portuguese) are strongly preferred.
