<p>Current Saint Francis Employees - Please click HERE to login and apply.</p> <p>Full Time</p> <p>Job Summary: The Epic Financial Success Manager (FSM) is a resource to assist operational leaders in overseeing the revenue cycle performance of the Connect Sites. This role assists the sites with their initiatives to improve billing, collections, reimbursement, and reporting through the Epic applications. The FSM will be engaged during revenue cycle implementation for new sites, partner with the leadership routinely to ensure their financial performance meets the required metrics, and work together to align on top focus areas for each site. They will work with Epic staff frequently.</p> <p>Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business, Finance, Information Technology or related field.</p> <p>Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None. Certification in an Epic Billing Application, preferred.</p> <p>Work Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Operations using an Epic System. Finance background, preferred.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Detailed knowledge of healthcare and revenue cycle operations. Strong knowledge of finance and banking systems/processes. Comprehensive knowledge of Epic's reporting tools and Epic's revenue cycle processes. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple management levels. Strong ability to work in a team oriented and collaborative environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with competing deadlines. Sound Ability to learn and effectively use new technologies.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Reviews expectations and facilitates baseline collection of financial metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) during any implementation. Coordinates the success of the implementation with metrics and transitions to benchmarking performance using best practices in Epic. Establishes the Access and Revenue Cycle Readiness program to ensure users and leaders are ready for implementation and regularly reviews the necessary checklists with site leadership. Orchestrates necessary meetings to ensure sites return to revenue cycle related baselines post implementation, such as charging. Organizes meetings to review key workflows to ensure revenue cycle processes are successful. Facilitates regular meetings with stakeholders across finance and revenue cycle to review metrics, focus areas, improvement opportunities, priorities and upcoming features in Epic. Reviews monthly metric reports to monitor financial performance and collaborate with site leadership on a routine basis to ensure they are performing in the top quartile when compared to similar Connect sites. Facilitates consistency and prioritization across the Connect sites. Creates action plans for improvement of any site that is not meeting their overall performance objectives. Acts as the primary point of contact for any revenue cycle related escalations, inquiries, or issues. Maintains required Epic webinar trainings.</p> <p>Decision Making: Independent judgment in making decisions involving non-routine problems under general supervision.</p> <p>Working Relationships: Coordinates activities of others (does not supervise). Works with internal and/or external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Works frequently with individuals at Director level or above.</p> <p>Special Job Dimensions: Some travel will be required throughout the year to meet with Community Connect sites.</p> <p>Supplemental Information: This document generally describes the essential functions of the job and the physical demands required to perform the job.
