<p>About the Role:</p> <p>Responsible for the review, analysis, and evaluation of credit data for commercial loans.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Responsible for collection of financial information and conducting analysis by generating, running, and utilizing system-generated reports.</p> </li><li> <p>Works with clients, Underwriters and Commercial Relationship Managers to analyze loan needs and options available to meet clients' financial goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Spreads financial statements and related information to financial spreadsheets and/or software programs for analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyzes Accounts Receivable, Inventory and other collateral information to determine adequate collateral coverage.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyzes financial data related to new and renewal commercial loan requests, including lines of credit, asset-based lines, equipment financing loans and/or commercial real estate loans.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts credit investigations and prepares credit approval reports and summarizes credit.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors existing loans to ensure complete conformity with terms.</p> </li><li> <p>Presents facts and offers opinions to Commercial Relationship Managers and Underwriters concerning applicant's credit worthiness.</p> </li><li> <p>Complies with all Federal, State, and local laws/regulations as applicable.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide exemplary customer service to internal and external clients.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.</p> </li><li> <p>Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.</p> </li><li> <p>May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.</p> </li><li> <p>Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words.</p> </li><li> <p>Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate.</p> </li><li> <p>Embraces our vision to become "Business Bank of Choice"</p> </li><li> <p>May perform other duties as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>This position reports to the Commercial Underwriting Manager.</p> </li></ul> <p>About You:</p> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum two years of experience of relevant credit analysis and commercial underwriting experience (Required)</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree required</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong written and verbal communications skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic understanding of banking and credit administration environments</p> </li><li> <p>Basic credit and credit quality skills including accounting, financial statement spreading, and cash flow analysis experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic knowledge of credit policies, procedures, practices and documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic understanding of personal and business financial statements and tax returns.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic knowledge of loan documentation and collateral perfection.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to learn loan origination, financial spreading, and other banking software.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage internal and external customer relationships.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel, and other business machines.</p> </li><li> <p>Credit Lens experience preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Travel Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Occasional </li></ul> <p>The pay range for this role is $27.75 - $46.25.</p> <p>The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
