<p>LVN / Team Operations Director / Staff Developer -</p> <p>The Ridge Foothill is searching for a hands-on experienced LVN / Team Operations Director / Staff Developer to oversee and manage our resident care team in our role of Team Operations Director. This position work alongside our other two nurses that oversee our Assisted Living and our Memory Support Departments. This unique position is a rare opportunity to recruit, orient and schedule care team members while also train and supervise our non-clinical care partners who provide exceptional service to our assisted living and memory support residents. All clinical responsibilities, including med tech supervision and training, will be handled by our Assisted Living Director and Memory Support Director. This is a great opportunity for an LVN with previous operational leadership experience to create their own role and lead a team of caring individuals in one of Salt Lake City's finest Assisted Living and Memory Care Communities. Plus, life insurance, short and long-term disability insurance and an employee assistance program. 401k, a generous PTO policy and the ability to pick your own holidays. </li><li>Work/life balance is not only valued but encouraged. </li><li>The pride associated with telling family and friends that you work at The Ridge Cottonwood! </li><li>Core Values - Gratitude, Teamwork, Family, Connection, Integrity and more. </li></ul> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the LVN Team Operations Director / Staff Developer -</p> <ul> <li>Oversee and ensure provision of resident care services by our non-licensed care partner team. </li><li>Recruit, interview and hire all care partner team members, both certified (Med Techs) and non-certified (Care Partners, Care Givers). </li><li>Create and manage work schedules for care team members to meet the needs of our residents. </li><li>Provide orientation and non-clinical training for care team members. </li><li>Directly supervise non-clinical care team members (Care Partners, Care Givers, etc.) </li><li>Assist our nurses with programs such as Quality Improvement, Infection Control and Central Supply. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications of the LVN Team Operations Director / Staff Developer -</p> <ul> <li>Prefer two (2) years of experience managing team members, preferably in a residential care setting. </li><li>Prefer Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) </li><li>Prior experiencing scheduling a large staff is greatly preferred. </li><li>Prefer experience with specialized dementia care programs. </li><li>Prefer one year of supervisory experience in a health-care related field. </li><li>Ability to understand and conceptualize concepts as well as an ability to make decisions in stressful situations. </li><li>High level of initiative and self-motivation with an emphasis on establishing and understanding processes with a strong attention to details. </li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with seniors and staff in a caring, compassionate manner. </li><li>Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and manage tasks to completion in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Work Environment: Active hands-on role within our senior living community.
