<p>Overview</p> <p>The USU Tooele Campus seeks a qualified anatomy tutor. The successful applicant will operate within Tooele Student Services, serving primarily as a tutor for students taking the Anatomy class on our campus. Tutors are expected to conduct their sessions 100% from the Tooele Campus (no remote from home). Exact hours will be assigned by the supervisor based on courses taught during the semester. Schedule will include mostly evenings.</p> <ul> <li>Fall 2025 Semester, August 29 - December 12 </li><li>Potential to continue for other semesters </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Serve as a science tutor for Tooele students primarily Anatomy Courses. Conduct tutoring sessions in person and through Zoom online (from campus). Provide help with understanding of course content, homework, review exams, and/or explain concepts recently discussed in classes. Work with Tooele's Student Success Coordinator throughout semester to assess student needs and update practices.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>A community member with appropriate reference to validate skill-set to tutor subjects. </li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age </li><li>Must be willing to attend training on online tutoring system </li><li>Exceptional listener and communicator who enjoys working with others. </li><li>Excellent level of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality. </li><li>Cultural sensitivity and an ability to build rapport with a diverse population. </li><li>Team player who excels at building trusting relationships with students. </li><li>Dependable, responsible contributor committed to excellence and success. </li><li>Self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision and ability to multitask. </li><li>Willingness to learn new skills or techniques. </li><li>Completion of the following classes with a B or better </li><li>HUMAN ANATOMY (BIOL 2320) & Corresponding Lab </li><li>HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY (BIOL 2420) & Corresponding Lab </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Completion of the following classes with a B or better </li><li>Pathophysiology </li><li>Chemistry </li></ul> <p>Required Documents</p> <p>Along with the online application, please attach:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Resume/CV to be uploaded to the candidate profile.</p> </li><li> <p>Cover Letter to be tped/pasted at the end of the application.</p> </li><li> <p>Transcript to be uploaded to the candidate profile.</p> </li></ol> <p>Document size may not exceed 10 MB.</p> <p>Advertised Salary</p> <p>18.00 per Hour</p> <p>ADA</p> <p>ADA Cognitive Requirements:Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
