<p>Information Solutions Engineers are responsible for solving business problems using a wide-ranging technical content skill set. You will conduct hands-on research and obtain necessary technical context from subject matter experts, while translating it into clear, concise, and structured content. You will support engineering teams in a variety of ways including, but not limited to: building AI native solutions, building tools or apps, documenting projects (software, tools, processes, etc.), editing contributed content written by others, reducing support burden, and fixing or reorganizing existing content.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>BA/BS degree in computer science, technical writing, physics, mathematics, or chemistry or equivalent experience </li><li>3+ years of experience in writing, technical documentation, and/or developer outreach for a developer audience </li><li>2+ years of experience with a programming language such as JavaScript, Objective-C, Java, PHP, Python, etc </li><li>Demonstrated experience in writing, proofreading, and editing </li><li>Demonstrated experience producing and organizing content with a logical flow </li><li>Experience with authoring tools and technologies such as XML, HTML, Markdown, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator </li><li>Experience programming, using the command-line, trying out user interfaces, and working with prototype hardware in test environments </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience building AI native workflows for information solutions </li><li>Experience building content engineering and information solutions tools to automate and enhance workflows </li><li>Experience with data science/engineering for content metrics </li><li>Familiarity with information architecture, knowledge management, taxonomies and ontologies </li><li>Experience meeting multiple deadlines </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prioritize technical content solutions based on business needs, expected impact, and inputs from various functions. This includes creating roadmaps, aligning with product teams on goals/priorities/deliverables, and developing strategies to achieve goals in the shortest time </li><li>Identify and track appropriate business metrics to measure project success on an ongoing basis </li><li>Work with various teams such as engineers, product management, and design to identify problem areas, remediate through information solutions, and highlight patterns that can help prioritize product features or bug fixes </li><li>Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to gain a better understanding of the product/technology, and partner on common goals.
