<p>Position Details: 2nd Shift Mon-Fri 3:30pm - 12:00am</p> <p>Your Expertise:</p> <p>2+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace or general manufacturing environment is a plus Previous experience performing dimensional and visual inspection in an aerospace environment Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, blueprints, repair manuals, and customer specifications Must have working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, gages, micrometers, borescopes and other measuring tools A strong background in manufacturing and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required Proficiency in operating CMMs using PCDMIS and/ or MODUS software (highly desirable) Previous experience performing incoming, in process, or final inspections in a turbine engine repair environment (highly desirable)</p> <p>Is your expertise different from the above? Apply today!</p> <p>Your Challenge:</p> <p>Final inspection of finished aerospace engine parts and components Measure various features and holes on part or component and determine if the part is acceptable to customer requirements Inspection includes visual and dimensional using requited gaging and measuring equipment Interpret operation sheets and blueprints meet customer criteria for an acceptable part Ensure that all parts being inspected meet criteria for an acceptable part If a part is defective or needs re-work, Inspector must complete required paperwork associated with this task</p> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <p>High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities</p> <p>The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
