<p>What to Expect</p> <p>Tesla is seeking a Controls Dev Engineer (Robotics) on the Semi team to be part of a world-class team of engineers that are responsible for designing and building the robotic equipment at the Tesla factories. As a Controls Dev Engineer, you are responsible for any robotics equipment solutions for all automotive projects. This includes having extensive theoretical and hands-on experience of 2 years in all facets of robotic applications used in Manufacturing, as well as experience managing new product introductions, equipment projects (new installations) and process optimization, upgrades & modifications.</p> <p>The key objective of the Vehicle Manufacturing Controls Engineering team is developing new and innovative solutions in the factory and help Tesla achieve its ambitious manufacturing goals.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for designing, selecting, managing, programming, and commissioning of automation equipment. Responsible for implementing and managing continuous process optimization including the addition of advanced and conventional technologies to improve quality, productivity and reduce overall waste </li><li>Overall responsibility for all robotics-related activities in the shop. Leading and assisting production in all robotics related topics and issues.
