<p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain, update, and enforce Safety Policies and Procedures in Safety Manual </li><li>Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, National Electrical Code Standards, and other regulations </li><li>Chair Safety Committee and Incident Investigation Committee </li><li>Supervise Field Safety Coordinators and advise PMs, Superintendents, Field Leaders </li><li>Serve as primary contact for all safety-related matters, including regulatory agencies and clients </li><li>Assist Purchasing to procure the correct equipment and PPE </li><li>Prepare Site-Specific Safety, Silica, and Energy Control Plans </li><li>Review GC/Owner/Site Specific Contract Requirements, Safety Policies and Procedures (Prequalification) </li><li>Schedule and maintain records for Safety Training, First Aid/CPR, OSHA, NFPA 70E, Driver training, etc. </li><li>Report Auto, Property Damage, Worker's Compensation Claims </li><li>Conduct Incident Investigations, Apparent Cause Evaluation, and Root Cause Analysis </li><li>Prepare, distribute, and track Weekly Toolbox Safety Meetings, Monthly Project Self-Inspections, Vehicle Safety Inspections, Temporary Power Inspections, Pre-Commissioning Outages, Injury Reports, Vehicle Collision Reports, Near Miss Reports, Coach and Correct, Safety Training, and Training Certifications </li><li>Follow up with Drivers on all Driver Complaints </li><li>Respond to OSHA Inspections/Violations and maintain OSHA Logs and reports </li><li>Prepare and submit annual OSHA and BLS Reports </li><li>Track safety metrics and perform data analysis to identify and report on safety trends </li><li>Stay current on industry safety trends and regulatory changes </li><li>Conduct workplace inspections, document deficiencies, and ensure correction </li><li>Participate and coordinate meetings with Field Safety Committee and Office Safety Committee </li><li>Participate in project site meetings </li><li>Identify, develop, and provide training on safety practices, operations, and site-specific rules </li><li>Perform Job Hazard Analysis and site audits; recommend appropriate controls and training </li><li>Manage all work-related incidents including motor vehicle accidents </li><li>Report, manage, and process all injury, motor vehicle, and property damage claims </li><li>Manage Substance Abuse Testing </li><li>Ensure compliance with Virginia Department of Environmental Quality for UST </li></ul> <p>Fleet/Transportation:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Oversee Fleet/Transportation Administration</p> </li><li> <p>Approve invoices over $500</p> </li><li> <p>Manage Fuel Cards and PINS</p> </li><li> <p>Manage Driver's Alert Monitoring Program</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain Assigned/Occasional/DOT/Allowance Driver Qualification Files</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor (Allowance Drivers) Insurance (Insurance, Record, Violations)</p> </li><li> <p>Manage DOT Physicals for Power Unit Drivers</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and update Commercial Motor Vehicles including Apportion Taxes and Federal Motor Carrier MCS-150 biennial updates</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <p>This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.
