Paraeducators will assist in classroom activities, provide individualized student support, and help maintain a structured and engaging learning environment.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support students in academic and enrichment activities under the direction of the classroom teacher.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in implementing instructional strategies and accommodations for students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities and English Language Learners (ELLs).</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and supervise students to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Reinforce classroom routines, expectations, and behavioral supports.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with classroom materials, organization, and preparation of instructional activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Escort students to and from designated areas as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide additional support during small group and one-on-one instruction.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate effectively with teachers and school staff to support student success.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow all district policies and procedures.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule & Compensation:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Dates: June 23 - July 18, 2025 (excluding July 4)</p> </li><li> <p>Daily Schedule: 3 hours per day</p> </li><li> <p>Compensation: [$XX.XX per hour]</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: Previous experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check as required by law.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical & Environmental Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to stand, walk, and move around the classroom for extended periods.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., student materials, classroom equipment).</p> </li><li> <p>Frequent bending, stooping, and assisting students with physical needs may be required.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with students and staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Work will be conducted primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor activities.</p> </li></ul> <p>Application/Interview Procedure:</p> <ul> <li>Apply online; click JobID: 1568 </li><li>Applicants will be screened on an ongoing basis; early applications are encouraged. </li><li>Interviews with a possible second interview and sample lesson. </li></ul> <p>For more information, please contact Asst.
