<p>Duties</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and evaluate the existing EL/Bilingual/Dual programs, e.g. facilities, curriculum, learning activities, materials, supplies, teachers and teacher instruction. </li><li>Collaboratively establish long-term plans and follow a continuous improvement model for EL/Bilingual/Dual education services in District 100. </li><li>Provide leadership in the planning, implementation, and support of EL/Bilingual/Dual Language programming, including approval of instructional materials in collaboration with district administration. </li><li>Plan for and monitor preservice and in-service training for teachers, paraprofessionals and administrators. </li><li>Track student enrollment/caseloads on a regular basis. Monitor programming and service needs for EL students. </li><li>Make recommendations to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Human Resources regarding EL/Bilingual/Dual staffing needs. </li><li>Assist the Chief Financial Officer in planning and administering the bilingual education budget. </li><li>Develop procedures to maintain complete records for all children evaluated and/or receiving EL services. </li><li>Keep current with literature, new research findings and improved techniques in EL/Bilingual/Dual education. </li><li>Assist in the recruitment, selection and recommendation of employment for EL/Bilingual/Dual education personnel. </li><li>Support the evaluation process of EL/Bilingual/Dual staff in cooperation with the building administration. </li><li>Process and monitor state- and local-language testing (ACCESS).
