This role offers a unique opportunity for leadership and autonomy as you will be the sole electrical engineer on the team.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design and develop spaceflight hardware, with a focus on antennas. </li><li>Perform schematic capture and PCB layout. </li><li>Select and evaluate electrical, electronic, and electromechanical (EEE) parts. </li><li>Modify existing designs using Altium software. </li><li>Support the antenna program for a government agency, delivering flight hardware within a year. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience in aerospace engineering, particularly with satellites, antennas, and spaceflight hardware. </li><li>Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout. </li><li>Experience with EEE parts selection. </li><li>Familiarity with RF technology. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with motor controllers. </li><li>Background in aerospace or related fields. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position is based in a modern office and manufacturing environment, offering significant room for growth.
