The base salary range is $31.48 (Min) - $46.78 hourly (Max), excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses.</p> <p>Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.</p> <p>As the Senior Accountant II, you will be asked to perform advanced-level accounting duties and tasks for Lawrence General Hospital.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Support and maintain department goals and objectives. </li><li>Adhere to and promote a strong internal control environment. </li><li>Meet deadlines, including tight monthly financial statements, close deadlines and audit deadlines. </li><li>Collaborate with co-workers, other departments of the Hospital, and vendors to further the hospital's mission. </li><li>Prepare and post journal entries. </li><li>Prepare monthly reconciliations and/or supporting schedules for general ledger accounts. </li><li>Review the work of Staff Accountant(s) for assigned areas. </li><li>Ownership of designated G/L accounts. </li><li>Provide financial analysis and models for management, including, but not limited to, variance reporting of the annual operating budget. </li><li>Assist in the review of the general ledger month-end close and presentation of the balance sheet and income statement results. </li><li>Initiate ACH/wire payments and maintain payment log. </li><li>Assist in the accounting and financial reporting of the hospitals' affiliated entities. </li><li>Assist in the preparation or review of various quarterly and annual tax returns. </li><li>Provide documentation for management and/or auditors to support transactions. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree with concentration or degree in Accounting or Business Management </li><li>4+ years of Accounting experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>CPA licensure </li><li>Healthcare industry accounting experience </li></ul>
