<p>The Department of Educational Studies at Colgate University invites applications for two distinct one-year visiting assistant professor positions:</p> <ul> <li>Critical Literacy Studies </li><li>Critical STEM Education (e.g., eco-pedagogy, critical place-based pedagogy, climate and sustainability education, Indigenous science); prior K-12 experience and teacher certification required. </li></ul> <p>Both of these positions will begin in the fall semester of 2026. Applicants should be prepared to teach courses in their area of expertise as well as the introductory foundations course in the department (The American School). Completion of PhD or EdD is required prior to or shortly after the date of hire.
