<p>JEVS Human Services and the Community Living and Home Supports program has an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as The Director of Community Support Services (CSS), Outreach & Recruitment.</p> <p>The Director of CSS, Outreach & Recruitment leads JEVS' efforts to connect individuals and families with critical programs that promote independence and community inclusion. This role works in close collaboration and coordination with the Vice President and other Directors in CLHS to oversee the process of engaging new clients for services.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Outreach & Recruitment</p> <ul> <li>Promote and market new and existing programs and concepts on a county, state and federal level, and as pertains to potential new funding streams. </li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with funders, potential funders, referral sources, and other key stakeholders </li><li>Work with Program Directors in promoting their programs and ensure they have the tools they need to engage with prospective clients </li><li>Work with Program Directors in setting and achieving enrollment targets for programs </li><li>Attend various City, State and County meetings to ascertain community needs </li><li>Engage referral community and make presentations covering existing and new programs and concepts, as required and for marketing purposes </li></ul> <p>Intake & Enrollment</p> <ul> <li>Works with Program Directors to fully understand intake needs of programs and develop criteria for new referrals </li><li>Assures that all necessary information is collected and coordinated for intake </li><li>Review all referral packets and send timely replies to referral sources regarding acceptance of a potential participant and follow established time guidelines based upon that referral source and/or program </li><li>Guide admission process through placement. This can include the following: </li></ul> <p>o Work with staff to develop procures to ensure timely engagement in all steps of the assessment and admissions processes</p> <p>o Organize and attend an initial team meeting to plan the transition of the individual and assure that program personnel are invited</p> <p>o Facilitate home screenings and full home studies</p> <p>o Meet with program team to coordinate visits of new referrals</p> <p>o Coordinate start dates that correspond with program participants, Program Director, and staff to ensure a smooth transition into the program</p> <p>o Organize provider files with required information</p> <p>o Identify suitable housing or in home supports for potential participants</p> <p>Life Sharing</p> <ul> <li>Recruit life sharing families </li><li>Complete the initial home screening of potential life sharing families and provide them with corrective information to prepare for the full home study </li><li>Prepare Life Sharing provider file to include required information: application, criminal history checks, physicals, home screen, drug test results, and references </li></ul> <p>Supported Independent Living (SIL)</p> <ul> <li>Search for an apartment if needed for SIL (or In Home Supports) potential participant </li><li>Request necessary funds for transition (furniture, household products) and engage Program Director in obtaining needs </li></ul> <p>Administrative</p> <ul> <li>Convene and chair monthly meetings with Program Directors across programs to review all referrals, discuss fit and plan next steps </li><li>Meet with Program Directors individually to review and plan support, proper matches, and referrals </li><li>Lead information to programs for new clients </li><li>Stay current on agency and system trends so that our system is nimble to meet the needs of the community and our funding groups. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in the field of human services and relevant experience, or two years of college course work in human services or related field and two years work experience in the field, or 4 years work experience in related field. </li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills required. </li><li>The ability to prepare detailed reports and to work with people in a variety of settings and with a variety of physical, mental health, intellectual, learning and chronic disabilities is necessary. </li><li>Successful candidates for this position are expected to be able to be in the office 4 days per week with 1 day of work remotely, with availability to lead outreach and recruitment activities outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekend as well as travel to recruitment opportunities throughout the region. </li></ul> <p>What's in it for you:</p> <ul> <li>401(k), with company match </li><li>Tuition assistance: Available to all employees with at least one year of service, for those enrolled in job-related, accredited, degree or certificate level courses </li><li>Health, Dental, and Vision coverage </li><li>Ample paid vacation and sick time </li><li>10-12 paid holidays per year </li><li>Pre-tax commuter benefits </li><li>Continuing education, professional development opportunities, retreats, and training </li><li>Annual holiday party and office outings </li><li>Wellness workshops and activities and access to the Employee Assistance Program </li><li>Dress-down Fridays </li><li>Employee referral bonus </li><li>Reimbursement of eligible mileage and travel expenses </li></ul> <p>The base pay for this position ranges from $58,000 to $73,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
