<p>Job Title: CAD TechnicianJob Description</p> <p>As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings of material handling equipment, work areas, and components. Your work will be based on current examples and will support future design initiatives, requiring a high level of detail in both plan views and elevation views. This role demands a self-starter who can work independently to create drawing sets that standardize workspaces and designs across a large network of fulfillment centers.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Create detailed drawings of material handling equipment and work areas. </li><li>Develop design support for future initiatives. </li><li>Produce detailed plan and elevation views for standardization purposes. </li><li>Work independently to develop drawing sets with minimal direction. </li><li>Contribute to layout design, process flow, and production line design. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years of CAD operating experience with the ability to manage layers. </li><li>Associate's Degree in Drafting and Design. </li><li>At least 1 year of experience drawing in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment. </li><li>Basic knowledge of material handling and storage systems. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in conveyor design and layout. </li><li>Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively to various audiences. </li><li>Leadership skills to manage small groups. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AR technology across both new launch and retrofit sites.
