<p>Summary:</p> <p>Under the direction of the Chef/Production Manager assists in the planning preparation and execution of all catering and special events.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Report to work according to fluctuating schedule and in accordance with uniform policy. Write up and organize catering events in advance. Assemble all equipment and foods necessary to provide quality services. Set up all catering rooms to specifications and deliver and set up buffet service and dining tables. Clean function rooms after service and return all equipment and foods to the kitchen for proper disposal and storage. Maintain proper inventory of all catering equipment. Assist in all areas of the department when not working directly on catering needs. Ensure that all catering functions and special events delivered on time and with proper room set up.</p> <p>Performs other related duties as required.</p> <p>Other information:</p> <p>BASIC KNOWLEDGE:</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent.</p> <p>Must be able to read and write English.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>One year related experience.</p> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:</p> <p>None</p> <p>Brown University Health is an Equal Opportunity employer.
