You will be responsible for leading the inspection staff including reviewing daily inspector reports, handling project correspondence and maintaining accurate records, producing estimates, assisting with the change order process, reviewing contractor payroll reports and EEO documents.</p> <p>You should have considerable knowledge of NJTA highway, bridge, practices and procedures; have the ability to prepare correspondence, reports and recommendations concerning construction issues; have a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with others. In addition, you should have the ability to use applicable software and record keeping methods consistent with the requirements of Jacobs and our clients.</p> <p>Bring your passion for safety and quality, and let's construct something great together.</p> <p>Here's what you'll need</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management </li><li>Licensed Professional Engineer plus substantial years of highway construction experience, or NICET IV plus substantial years of highway construction experience </li><li>Could have New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) License </li><li>Field Inspection Experience, substantial professional years experience </li><li>Supervisory Experience, substantial professional years experience </li><li>Knowledge of NJTA construction policies and procedures. </li><li>Basic knowledge of CPM scheduling techniques. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Excellent computer and mathematical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. </li><li>The ability to work independently and as part of a team. </li><li>Site Manager Experience </li><li>A valid driver's license. </li></ul> <p>Posted Salary Range: Minimum</p> <p>135,000.00</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Upper</p> <p>175,000.00</p> <p>Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
