From industrial to DOT to municipal, we have just the right pole.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise shift while planning or producing as scheduled </li><li>Achieve production and/or shipping goals as specified by the Plant Manager </li><li>Review weekly production schedule ensuring all materials are available </li><li>Motivate employees to give maximum effort in a professional manner </li><li>Ensure all safety procedures are being followed </li><li>Maintain weekly employee attendance records </li><li>Maintain accurate production and/or inventory data including cycle counting </li><li>Ensure all forms for each workstation are completed and accurate </li><li>Hold departmental meetings as needed to discuss updates and/or changes in company policies, procedures, goals, etc. </li><li>Wear appropriate PPE and lead by example </li><li>Coordinate and lead monthly safety committee meeting </li><li>Troubleshoot issues related to equipment failures and take appropriate action to keep plant online and operational </li><li>Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in all aspects of the manufacturing process: </li><li>Reading drawings, instructions, or repair/assembly operations </li><li>ERP system exposure/experience to identify and understand sales order demand and connected drawings </li><li>Cycle Counting Experience </li><li>Must have the ability to perform the following: </li><li>Overtime and shift work as required including weekends </li><li>Stand up to 12 hours daily </li><li>Walk up to 12 hours daily </li><li>Bend/stoop up to 12 hours daily </li><li>Perform repetitive movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily </li><li>Lift weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly </li><li>Be on site before shift starts to plan production for the day </li><li>Plan and work with computer-controlled equipment </li><li>Adapt and be cross trained to learn all job duties as required </li><li>Learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures. </li><li>Work in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Identify molds (change overs) mods and extensions, etc. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent </li></ul>
