Join our team at the Farmington Polo Grounds in Farmington, CT!</p> <p>We are seeking a Landscape Technician with experience in landscape installation, grounds maintenance, and turf maintenance. The candidate must have a positive, "can do" attitude and be willing to step in and help the team where needed. This is a year round, full time, benefit eligible position. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and paid vacation days.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):</p> <ul> <li>Maintains shrubs, trees, flower beds, and turf including pesticide applications. </li><li>Plants flowers, trees, shrubs, and turf. </li><li>Installs hardscapes - paver walks, walls, and stone edging. </li><li>Operates landscape construction equipment and tractors with attachments </li><li>Set up/break down for polo and tent events including table, chairs, outdoor furniture, tents, etc. Remains on sight during events </li><li>Weekend work and overtime required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of turf and or landscape experience. </li><li>Must have Valid Driver's License. </li><li>Pesticide Operators License preferred. </li><li>High School graduate or GED required; Associates degree in the landscape field preferred. </li><li>Must be able to lift 50-60 lbs. </li><li>Must be able to work in all weather conditions. </li><li>Team Player. </li><li>Attention to detail. </li><li>Ability and willingness to handle multiple functions. </li></ul> <p>Other details</p> <ul> <li>Pay Type Hourly </li></ul> <p>Apply Now</p> <ul> <li>162 Town Farm Rd, Farmington, CT 06032, USA </li></ul>
