Come join our team and be a part of history!</p> <p>Pay $22/hour</p> <p>Title: Banquet Server</p> <p>Location: City, State</p> <p>FLSA: Exempt/Non-Exempt</p> <p>Status: Part-time, full-time, seasonal, on-call.</p> <p>Reports to: Banquet Manager</p> <p>Pay Range: Enter hourly rate range or salary range depending on position</p> <p>Job Summary: The Banquet Server provides food and beverage service in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner during banquet events. This role is focused on delivering high-quality service to ensure a positive experience for all guests attending dining and banquet functions.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and guest service.</p> </li><li> <p>Greet guests warmly and ensure prompt drink orders.</p> </li><li> <p>Present the menu, answer guest questions, and make food and beverage suggestions.</p> </li><li> <p>Suggest wine selections where appropriate.</p> </li><li> <p>Relay orders to the kitchen and beverage services promptly.</p> </li><li> <p>Observe guests to fulfill additional requests and anticipate when they have completed their meals.</p> </li><li> <p>Clear and reset tables efficiently.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete all assigned side work tasks during shifts.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with setting up, cleaning, and refreshing banquet function rooms.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend department meetings and complete tasks assigned by the Banquet Manager.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, including reading and understanding MSDS.</p> </li></ul> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.</p> <p>Required Experience, Education, and Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous experience in banquet or restaurant service preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating costs.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Primarily an indoor environment with protection from weather conditions, though not necessarily from temperature changes.</p> </li><li> <p>Requires standing and walking for extended periods during events.</p> </li><li> <p>Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 20 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</p> </li></ul> <p>Other Duties:</p> <p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
