<p>We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join the 2025 WSP Summer Intern Program in the New York, NY office. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and passionate about developing a career in human resources.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in posting job openings on internal and external job boards </li><li>Review resumes and applications, and help coordinate interviews </li><li>Support onboarding and offboarding processes </li><li>Maintain and update employee records and HR documents </li><li>Assist in organizing HR events, training sessions, and team-building activities </li><li>Conduct research on HR best practices and help improve internal processes </li><li>Support day-to-day HR administrative tasks </li><li>Help ensure company policies are up to date and compliant with current regulations </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Currently matriculated students enrolled at a 4 year college or university pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field. (required) </li><li>Strong GPA preferred (Minimum GPA of 3.2 required) </li><li>Ability to be onsite in office 4 days a week </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities </li><li>Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) </li><li>Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges </li></ul> <p>The WSP Summer Internship Program is a paid, ten-week program that offers students the opportunity to obtain firsthand insight into the insurance business. Every day you'll learn and develop your skills but you'll also have a clear and supportive path ahead of you. You'll gain the confidence to take on real projects, build your network and learn from senior leaders across our business.</p> <p>Program Elements Include:</p> <ul> <li>Classroom and On The Job Training </li><li>Weekly Lunch and Learn Series with Senior Leaders </li><li>Formal Mentor Program </li><li>Presentations from Major Brokerage Partners </li><li>Teambuilding and Social Activities; including Community Service Event </li><li>Industry based Group Project </li></ul> <p>This is a paid internship. Intern will be paid on an hourly basis at the rate of $25/hour.</p> <p>#wsp</p>
