Ensures accurate specimen orientation and sectioning, applies routine and special stains, and reviews slides for quality assurance. Prepares frozen sections, maintains quality control records, and accurately distributes slides to pathologists. Operates laboratory equipment, prepares reagents, and uses the LIS for workflow management.
