A-State participates in E-Verify.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Arkansas State University (ASTATE) Department of Psychology and Counseling, in the College of Education and Behavioral Science, seeks an Assistant Professor of School Counseling, for a nine-month, non-tenure track position (# F00228) for the MSE School Counseling program.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Teaching is normally 15 credit hours per semester</p> </li><li> <p>Engage in supervision as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Attend weekly meetings</p> </li><li> <p>Serve on committees as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Provide comprehensive feedback on student assignments and discussion posts in order to promote learning and growth</p> </li><li> <p>Integrate video conference sessions into didactic and clinical courses</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p> <p>Ability to share Formal Teaching Evaluations with student feedback from previous/current institution</p> <p>Must be willing to teach both didactic and clinical courses</p> <p>Ability to teach fully online school counseling courses and engage in service duties as appropriate for the program; including facilitating evening sessions via video conference.</p> <p>Provide comprehensive feedback on student assignments and discussion posts in order to promote learning and growth</p> <p>Willingness to integrate video conference sessions into didactic classes (at least 2 per session) in order to enhance faculty / peer interaction and augment learning</p> <p>Ability to work in a collaborative team setting</p> <p>General Days/Hours:</p> <p>Monday - Friday</p> <p>8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.</p> <p>Additional hours as requested and/or needed</p> <p>Regular and reliable attendance</p> <p>Other:</p> <p>Please note: all position postings close at 12:00 A.M.
