<p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>The Marketing Strategist creates the overall vision for the Kaleidoscope Innovation brand in external and internal communication. The strategist will pull inputs from the various components of Kaleidoscope such as Sales, Leadership, and Infosys. Further assembling inputs from external market forces and client opportunities, the strategist creates proposals for specific marketing activities. Knowledge of related fields are necessary for effective execution, such as copywriting, graphic design, and sales tools. Required are excellent organizational and communication skills to consistently verbalize the value of these efforts to all stakeholders.</p> <p>PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>1.</p> <p>Project Management (50%)</p> <ul> <li>Organize tasks based on overall strategic vision </li><li>Understand abilities of available internal and external resources </li><li>Balance, manage, and coordinate outside resources </li><li>Assist in managing marketing budget </li></ul> <p>2.</p> <p>Strategy (20%)</p> <ul> <li>Pull inputs as necessary from internal and external sources </li><li>Such as KI business goals, trend reports, client direction, Infosys strategy, etc. </li><li>Create and document KI strategic marketing direction </li><li>Enhance KI's distinct tone and voice </li><li>Translate strategy into actionable activities </li><li>Such as creation of case studies, white papers, other client engagement opportunities </li></ul> <p>3.</p> <p>Execution and Communication (20%)</p> <ul> <li>Consistent and frequent communication with KI leadership </li><li>Communicate value of activities to staff: Regular updates to management team. </li><li>Explore and recommend channels and tactics for brand message communication </li><li>Develop and execute data driven marketing activities aligned with business objectives </li></ul> <p>4.</p> <p>Quality/Continuous Improvement (10%)</p> <ul> <li>Remains current with technologies, trends, brands, competitors, etc. </li><li>Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages the sharing of ideas and continuous improvement </li><li>Remains abreast of best-in-class processes, implementing revisions to policies and techniques when applicable </li><li>Attends functional departmental meetings, including cross-functional management/team meetings </li><li>Provide strategic input and materials to support sales activities </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Education/Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, or related field </li><li>5+ years of professional experience in marketing activities related to product development and innovation </li><li>Working knowledge and exposure to design and aesthetic considerations </li><li>Working knowledge of all aspects of traditional and digital marketing activities </li><li>Paid search, Website SEO, digital ads </li></ul> <p>Licenses/Credentials/Certifications</p> <ul> <li>N/A </li></ul> <p>Skills/Specialized Knowledge/Abilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Understanding of latest digital tools:</p> </li><li> <p>Microsoft suite</p> </li><li> <p>Adobe suite and equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>CRM platforms</p> </li><li> <p>Strong aesthetic sensitivity with a discernment of good/bad visual and interactive design</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced ability to quickly synthesize inputs and drive towards appropriate solutions</p> </li><li> <p>Strong drive for excellence and attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled at leveraging the experience, expertise and work of others</p> </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS</p> <p>Tools and Equipment Used</p> <ul> <li>Computer with design specific software, copier, phone, and other typical office equipment </li></ul> <p>Travel</p> <ul> <li>Minimal: <10% </li></ul> <p>Physical & Mental Demands</p> <ul> <li>Frequently required to sit at a desk/workstation for extended periods </li><li>Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods </li><li>Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment </li><li>Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc. </li><li>Ability to speak to and hear employees/clients via phone or in person </li><li>Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move around the office environment </li><li>Ability to analyze unique situations and develop appropriate response </li><li>Additional Physical Requirements: file, speak, write, hear, read, type, see </li><li>Additional Mental Requirements: compare, decide, direct, problem solve, analyze, instruct, interpret </li></ul> <p>Environment</p> <ul> <li>Work typically performed in an office and design workshop setting. </li></ul>
