This position involves providing mental health services to children and families as part of our Mental Health Consultation program. Our program collaborates with early education institutions, school programs, and families to address the social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs of young children.</p> <p>Through early assessment methods such as classroom observations, standardized tools, and family meetings, we aim to facilitate the implementation of strategies that foster improved social-emotional development. By strengthening collaboration between parents and childcare providers, we ensure optimal outcomes for children in both home and school environments.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide mental health assessment, treatment and care coordination services to children, adults and families. </li><li>Ensure compliance and maintain standards of care stipulated by Agency policies and procedures, program specifications, Medicaid, Managed Care Organizations, DEEC, CBHI, DPH and other applicable regulations. </li><li>Attend staff meetings and trainings as required and regularly meet with supervisor in accordance with Agency policies and to carry out supervisory directives to ensure quality and efficient practice. </li><li>Effectively participate and/or facilitate in care planning meetings with other professionals, agencies and collaterals for the delivery of coordinated client care according to program specifications. </li><li>Conduct telephone and on-site consultation to childcare program staff and parents/guardians. </li><li>Observe children in their childcare settings to assess social-emotional functioning. </li><li>Administer and interpret social-emotional assessment and behavior screening tools. </li><li>Facilitate meetings with teachers/providers and parents/guardians to provide observation feedback. </li><li>Provide social-emotional resources to support children's social-emotional skill development. </li><li>Develop behavior support plans for children. </li></ul> <p>Requirement: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or closely related field. Licensed or license eligible.</p> <p>Driver's license and car required.</p> <p>Schedule: Full time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8a-4p or 9a-5p</p> <p>Salary: MA degree /non-licensed: $55,000.00 and Licensed Clinician: $60,000.00.</p> <p>6% bilingual salary increase if fluent in the needed language capacity</p> <p>Location: Typically on-site at various schools and childcare settings.
