Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion and the use of the classroom/lab experience to enhance workplace understanding and performance.</p> <p>Teach with excellence a full range of biology coursework. Participate collaboratively in curriculum review and development, outcomes assessment, advisory council activities, projects, and other department and College activities.</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>Master's degree in Biology or related discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline.</p> <p>Preferred</p> <p>Biotech experience</p> <p>Higher education/community college/high school teaching experience.</p> <p>Expected Start Date: Fall Quarter</p> <p>232-day, 12-month contract.</p> <p>May include day, evening and/or weekend classes and may involve travel to other campuses.</p> <p>A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process.</p> <p>Position is contingent upon MCC Board of Governors approval</p> <p>Hiring process includes passing a background check.</p> <p>The specific statements shown in each section of this description are not intended to be all inclusive.
