<p>Job Description</p> <p>Description</p> <p>SAIC is seeking a skilled Logistics Associate to join our team supporting the SAIC's Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) FMS Team in Huntsville, AL. The IBCS Program plays a critical role in advancing air and missile defense capabilities, providing a network-centric environment for enhanced battlefield awareness and defense measures. As a Logistics Analyst, you will play a vital role in analyzing and optimizing logistical operations to support the success of the IBCS program.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Analyze logistical operations and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. </li><li>Develop and implement strategies to streamline logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate logistics activities and ensure alignment with program objectives. </li><li>Monitor inventory levels and track the movement of materials and equipment to ensure timely delivery and availability. </li><li>Conduct data analysis to assess performance metrics and identify trends related to logistics operations. </li><li>Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. </li><li>Provide logistical support for program activities, including transportation, procurement, and resource allocation. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and zero (0) years of experience in logistics analysis, supply chain management, or a related role; Additional six (6) years experience can be accepted in lieu of degree. </li></ul> <p>Clearance Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must possess an active Secret security clearance or have the ability to obtain one; US Citizenship required. </li></ul> <p>Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Commercial Driver's License (CDL). </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. </li><li>Knowledge of government contracting regulations and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with logistics software and systems. </li><li>Experience in the defense or aerospace industry. </li><li>Understanding of inventory management principles. </li></ul> <p>Overview</p> <p>SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.</p> <p>SAIC is a premier Fortune 500 mission integrator focused on advancing the power of technology and innovation to serve and protect our world.
