<p>Job Description</p> <p>Lube Tech- SLC, UT</p> <p>We are seeking a dependable and energetic Mechanic Assistant to support our maintenance team with maintenance upkeep in Salt Lake City. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with a passion for automotive care, especially in lube tech and general maintenance tasks. You'll work closely with the Mechanic Supervisor to ensure vehicles are safe, clean, and running smoothly.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform routine maintenance including: </li><li>Oil changes </li><li>Tire rotations and replacements </li><li>Filter replacements </li><li>Fluid checks and top-offs </li><li>Assist with preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicle readiness. </li><li>Support basic mechanical repairs under supervision. </li><li>Maintain vehicle appearance through cleaning and light cosmetic upkeep. </li><li>Keep shop equipment and tools in working order by following usage guidelines and reporting issues. </li><li>Help manage inventory by tracking supplies and assisting with orders. </li><li>Record services performed and maintain accurate maintenance logs. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures. </li><li>Ability to lift and move equipment and parts. </li><li>Strong time management and reliability. </li><li>Safety-conscious and detail-oriented. </li><li>Valid driver's license required. </li><li>Personal tools and secure toolbox preferred. </li></ul> <p>Must possess valid driver's license</p> <p>Provide your own tools and secure toolbox (preferred)</p> <p>#LI-DNI</p> <p>#LI-DNP</p>
