The Nationally recognized CJRI has dedicated Inpatient private rooms. We have 8 operating rooms all together. 6 are dedicated to total joints and 2 are dedicated to Spine. Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for everyone that walks through our doors.</p> <p>What you will do</p> <ul> <li>This position is responsible for supporting Spine cases for SFHMC the Comprehensive Spine Institute Operating Rooms. </li><li>A dedicated team of CST's and RN's cover 24/7-365 days/year coverage of a busy Level 1 spine trauma center. </li><li>Works with the team to scrub case and coordinate equipment, instrument, and implant needs. </li><li>Our program utilizes the BrainLab technology with the first intraoperative CT imaging scan in the State of CT. </li><li>Works collaboratively with the OR team, Anesthesiology, Radiology, and various patient care areas to obtain maximum efficiency of daily schedule and optimal patient outcomes under direction of the Director, the Comprehensive Spine Institute </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology. </li><li>Licensure: Certified CST from NBSTSA </li><li>Certification: BLS required; Prefer 1 year of specialized spine and neuro training in a level 1 or 2 hospital. New Requirement as of 10/1/2023, New grads have 18 months to provide proof of certification.
