<p>Overview</p> <p>JOB TITLE: FACILITIES TECHNICIANJOB LOCATION: OgdenFUNCTION: The Facilities Technician is required to travel to various locations within Weber County and neighboring counties to perform inspection, preventative maintenance, and projects as assigned.REPORTING TO: Facilities Supervisor</p> <p>KEY ACTIVITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Visualize, define plan, communicate and implement the company vision and core values; </li><li>Complete construction projects in various facilities and properties including construction yards, plants, offices, and trailers, etc; </li><li>Perform carpentry work; </li><li>Perform plumbing and electrical; </li><li>Apply various paints and finishes; </li><li>Perform concrete forming and finishing; </li><li>Operate construction equipment as necessary; </li><li>Local travel as needed; </li><li>Maintain department of transportation (DOT) medical card; </li><li>Maintain insurable driving record; </li><li>Ensure a safe and healthful work environment at all times; </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>General handyman skills; </li><li>Knowledge of various phases of construction field; </li><li>Knowledge and ability to use power tools as needed to complete job; </li><li>Experience operating miscellaneous hand tools; </li><li>Perform duties with minimal supervision; </li><li>Ability to lift and support materials to complete tasks; </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; </li><li>3-5 years of experience in carpentry or construction trades; </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Lifting 75+ lbs regularly; </li><li>Inside and outside working conditions; </li></ul>
