We're looking for an experienced professional who can jump right into challenging projects involving railroad and roadway bridges-with a focus on load rating and design.</p> <p>What You'll Be Doing:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform Bridge Load Ratings for:</p> </li><li> <p>Railroad Bridges with train loadings</p> </li><li> <p>Roadway Bridges with truck loadings</p> </li><li> <p>Lead or support Bridge Design for:</p> </li><li> <p>Railroad and roadway structures using current codes and standards</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize engineering software to execute complex calculations and modeling</p> </li></ul> <p>Key Tools & Software:</p> <ul> <li> <p>AASHTOWare - for load rating of highway bridges</p> </li><li> <p>STAAD Pro - for structural analysis and design</p> </li><li> <p>MERLIN-DASH - for railroad bridge design</p> </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in load rating and designing bridges for railroad and highway applications</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in relevant software tools listed above</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of:</p> </li><li> <p>AASHTO code for roadway bridges</p> </li><li> <p>AREMA code for railroad bridges</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects</p> </li></ul> <p>Note: EIT or PE license is a plus, but not required.
