Through access to quality behavioral health, crisis intervention, and suicide intervention services we foster an inclusive community in which everyone can attain wellness and a genuine sense of belonging.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Recovery Support Supervisor provides outreach and support to clients, facilitates skill-teaching groups, and supervises the Recovery Support Specialists across all psychosocial programs (Recovery Academy, Stepping Stones and CRSP). This position also provides information on the recovery process and will promote opportunities to enhance the ability of clients served to move into recovery.</p> <p>Primary Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Provides outreach phone calls to active/inactive clients. </li><li>Documents outreach contacts in clients' electronic health record. </li><li>Completes orientation for clients admitted to program. </li><li>Completes Orientation Checklist on newly admitted clients in the electronic health record. </li><li>Facilitates skill-teaching/support groups. </li><li>Provide timely and regular supervision to Recovery Support Specialists on performance and support professional growth of employees. </li><li>Interview, hire, evaluate, and provide corrective action, as needed. </li><li>In collaboration with Program Managers, Assistant Clinical Direction Chief Clinical Officer, coordinate the implementation and update of curricula that are person-centered and reflect best practices. </li><li>Updates team on changes in level of functioning for clients served. </li><li>Communicates to clinical staff the need for crisis intervention for clients served. </li><li>Provides assistance in transportation education. </li><li>Provides education on the recovery process based on personal experience and program material. </li><li>Represents staff in agency and/or community-based workgroups to enhance services provided within, and related to, psychosocial services for target population, as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED. </li><li>High degree of empathy toward the clients we serve. </li><li>Effective interpersonal and written communication skills including the ability to facilitate groups. </li><li>Must be a Peer which is a person who has personal lived experience and has used mental health services (past or present). </li><li>Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS) Certification required. </li><li>Supervisor training preferred but not required </li><li>Supervisory or lead experience preferred </li><li>Must be a self-starter who possesses strong diplomatic communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to be persistent, yet supportive </li><li>Ability to work individually and within a team environment. </li></ul> <p>Salary: $20/hour</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>This is a 100% On-site position.</p> <p>8794 Sacramento Drive, Suite S.</p> <p>Alexandria, VA 22309</p> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>25 hours per week:</p> <p>Monday - 9:00am -2:00pm</p> <p>Tuesday - 11:15am - 4:15pm</p> <p>Wednesday - 11:00am -4:15pm</p> <p>Thursday - 9:15am -2:15pm</p> <p>Friday - 9:00am - 1:45pm</p> <p>Ready to Make a Difference?</p> <p>If you're passionate about helping people achieve mental wellness, we encourage you to apply!</p> <p>HopeLink Behavioral Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
