The ideal candidate will be organized, energetic and enjoy working with people</p> <p>.</p> <p>Our plant is apart of the Healthcare industry and we print pharmaceutical labels.</p> <p>CCL Label offers competitive pay, medical, dental, vision, FSAs, and life insurance benefits, as well as 401(k) and Profit Sharing.</p> <p>BACKGROUND & QUALIFICATIONS: Four year college degree with business emphasis is helpful. Broad knowledge of printing, bindery and manufacturing of printed product is helpful. Attention to detail is a must. A neat, well-groomed appearance is required. Polite and professional verbal and written communication is required. Fluency with the creation and manipulation of modern business office software such as Microsoft Office software, particularly Microsoft Excel and the numeracy to successfully work with such software a must.</p> <p>PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS: The ability to remain in a seated position for long periods of time is required. The ability to see, hear, count, measure, read and follow verbal or written directives in English is required. The ability to provide verbal or written directives in English is required. The ability to differentiate colors, horizontal and vertical positions is required. Ability to visualize relational aspects of layered label constructions. Ability to travel when needed to provide technical sales support to customers and the CCL sales team.</p> <p>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Plan and ensure execution of special projects based on customer packaging and label needs </li><li>Prepare and deliver reports, updates and projects according to Elite Plant Standards </li><li>Look at all issues from a proactive strategic perspective, eliminate causes and find effective solutions </li><li>Deliver communication at the right time </li><li>Get ideas across in a clear and understandable way </li><li>Listen well to understand </li><li>Handle tough conversations appropriately, maturely and in a timely manner </li><li>Maintain attention to detail in long term development and implementation of Process Improvement, Trials and R&D initiatives </li><li>Maintain appropriate urgency in working with timelines and deadlines setting appropriate priorities </li><li>Take ownership of lean/six sigma process improvement </li><li>Expect and encourage employees to develop new and better ways of doing things </li><li>Support the efforts of departments to hit required metrics while meeting the requirements of all initiatives </li><li>Take a holistic approach when considering improvement in process and resources </li><li>Consider all appropriate data when making decisions </li><li>Make decisions in a timely manner in order to solve problems quickly and effectively </li><li>Utilize own and other employees' expertise to identify and solve problems </li><li>Contribute to effective group decisions by offering honest opinions while committed to group consensus </li><li>Perform work and measure team results in accordance with elite plant standards </li><li>Conduct oneself in accordance with written and unwritten rules of professional and leadership behavior </li><li>Continuously increase knowledge and improve skills, both operationally and as a leader </li><li>Actively solicit feedback performance and seek opportunities to provide constructive feedback to team/peers </li><li>Speak and behave toward in a manner and tone that demonstrates respect, integrity and support </li><li>Speak positively about any and all employees when speaking to others </li><li>Resolve issues, conflicts and disagreements by going to the person involved </li><li>Search for solutions when problems arise </li><li>Listen to and understand other points of view, even when disagree </li><li>Provide initial response to requests from a customer, supervisor, employee, or peer immediately </li><li>Honor commitments to timelines and deadlines </li><li>Provide frequent updates on longer term jobs, projects and activities </li><li>Clearly communicate to the appropriate person(s) when a project or job will not be completed on time </li><li>Seek input and ideas from those who are directly involved in the situation being considered </li><li>Not assume own ideas are always the best ideas </li><li>Share ideas even when they go against the flow </li><li>In disagreement, work with employees and peers to find the solution that is best value for CCL </li><li>Work closely with the leadership team to ensure that Elite Plant Standards are met; welcome comments from peers about department effectiveness and individual/team performance </li></ul>
