Together, the NDI and the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) offer a modern, healing atmosphere for all Hoosiers</p> <p>Salary Statement:</p> <p>The salary for this position traditionally starts at $71,500.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.</p> <p>A Day in the Life:</p> <p>Program Administration Support</p> <ul> <li>Prioritize and organize the daily care of patients. </li><li>Make care assignments and assist in developing treatment plans in collaboration with other clinical staff. </li><li>Direct support staff to coordinate workflow and communicate problems. </li><li>Monitor the safety and security of individuals and staff by conducting routine rounds. </li><li>Complete required documentation of nursing notes, transfer forms, and other records. </li><li>Provide orientation and support to staff on the unit. </li></ul> <p>Program Management Support</p> <ul> <li>Provide ongoing assessment and documentation of individuals' physical and psychosocial status from admission to discharge. </li><li>Administer medications and treatments according to state-operated health care facility policies and procedures. </li><li>Develop and implement nursing care plans for diagnosis or treatment plan changes. </li><li>Complete medication administration supervision monitors and clinical observation notes for support staff. </li><li>Educate individuals and family members regarding medication, procedures, and treatment goals and objectives. </li><li>Respond and intervene in emergency situations and with agitated individuals using verbal de-escalation techniques. </li><li>Ensure proper safety and infection control standards, including compliance management, are met for the unit to protect staff and individuals. </li></ul> <p>Talent Development & Performance Management</p> <ul> <li>Recruit, select, onboard, and train employees to ensure role responsibilities and expectations are clearly understood while providing opportunities for professional development. </li><li>Set expectations, measure progress, provide ongoing feedback, and evaluate employee performance to ensure work adheres to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures. </li></ul> <p>The job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
