<p>DESCRIPTION</p> <p>We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Memphis, TN.</p> <p>You will make an impact in the following ways:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop</p> </li><li> <p>Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles</p> </li><li> <p>Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies</p> </li><li> <p>Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain own tools</p> </li></ul> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:</p> <p>(Intermediate):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Completes complex internal engine repairs</p> </li><li> <p>Performs engine overhauls with limited direct supervision</p> </li></ul> <p>Education, Licenses, Certifications:</p> <p>Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)</p> <p>Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution</p> <p>Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)</p> <p>This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products</p> <p>Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>This position does not require a CDL but would be nice to have, a CDL may be required to obtain upon hire, must be 21 years old to obtain CDL. This position will require a Med-Card and we will also be required to complete a DMV driving report. ORDER, DOT Physical and DMV Report.
