<p>POSITION: Agriculture Teacher (full-time)</p> <p>LOCATION: Whitko Career Academy, Larwill, IN</p> <p>WORK SCHEDULE: Contracted Teacher Day - 184 Day Contract</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <ul> <li>This position is a full-time, permanent Agriculture Teacher at the Whitko Career Academy beginning April 17, 2023. The Whitko Career Academy, in conjunction with Whitko Community Schools, provides a quality Career and Technical Education Program to students. </li><li>The Whitko Career Academy is seeking an experienced, energetic, engaging professional with a genuine interest in teaching high school students a mix of theoretical and hands-on skills of agriculture. Major topics include plant science, food science, animal science, horticulture, natural resources, and agriculture power and technology. </li><li>Applicants must possess a 5-12 Agricultural Teaching License or be able to obtain an Indiana Workplace Specialist Teaching License, and meet continuing education requirements to maintain teaching certification. </li><li>Applicants should have industry recognized credentials and/or certifications that pertain to the position. College degree in an agriculture related field is preferred, but not required. A first applicant must send in a photocopy. </li><li>Must be twenty-one (21) years of age </li><li>Employment in an accredited educational program to teach in a specific vocational area.
