<p>Job Description</p> <p>Primary Function</p> <p>The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, completion, and financial outcome of construction-management projects throughout their life cycle. This role includes mentoring project engineers, fostering a collaborative team culture, and ensuring performance and quality align with the project plan.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Review specifications, identify required submittals, prepare submittal logs/schedules, and communicate scope changes. </li><li>Identify long-lead items and manage the submittal review process in line with CPM schedules. </li><li>Coordinate job site setup and develop site logistics plans. </li><li>Create, distribute, and maintain field inspection reports for each project. </li><li>Review inspection reports and communicate deficiencies to supervisors and project managers. </li><li>Maintain record drawings and document control logs to track project documents. </li><li>Monitor weekly trade performance against project schedules, update delay logs, and provide team updates. </li><li>Promote and enforce safety standards during all project activities. </li><li>Conduct and document jobsite safety meetings, present safety topics, and maintain attendance logs. </li><li>Read and interpret construction plans and specifications. </li><li>Assist with job progression documentation (two-week look-ahead schedules). </li><li>Prepare meeting minutes, agendas, and other project documentation. </li><li>Develop proficiency in Procore and recommend improvements for software implementation. </li><li>Obtain and maintain OSHA 10 certification prior to hire. </li><li>Attend jobsite meetings as needed and record minutes. </li><li>Schedule and attend all pre-construction meetings required per subcontractor trade. </li><li>Track and submit RFIs, ASIs, sketches, and other project documents. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li>RFI management </li><li>Change order processing </li><li>Construction management </li><li>Submittals oversight </li><li>Procore proficiency </li><li>Subcontractor management </li><li>Quality control </li><li>OSHA 30 compliance </li><li>Site construction </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. </li><li>Experience with self-performing work is a plus. </li><li>Pre-construction or carpentry experience is beneficial. </li></ul> <p>Experience Level</p> <ul> <li>Intermediate level </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Permanent position based out of Cheshire, CT.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.</p> <p>Health Insurance - standard medical coverage.
