<p>Primary Function</p> <p>Responsible for preparing food for dining room and for patients under the direction of the Cook II/Executive Chef.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the preparation and cooling of foods using standardized recipes, production sheets and HACCP Records under the supervision of a cook. </li><li>Prepare and cook food on grill. </li><li>Serves and plates meals for patient services. </li><li>Control quantity and quality of foods used on a daily basis by taking inventory daily and ordering supplies as needed. </li><li>Maintains high standards of food handling and cleanliness in the work area. </li><li>Responsible for cleaning production area prior to end of shift. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining principles of proper food production and other related activities. </li><li>Assists with catered events for food preparation and service. </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications and Specifications</p> <p>High School Diploma is required. Vocational/technical training and a minimum of one years job-related experience required. Must be able to follow directions, both oral and written. Must be able to read and write, use simple arithmetic, and keep simple records.
