Our continued focus on the patient experience informs our caregivers on how to provide care that is respectful of and responsive to individual patient and family preferences, needs and values.</p> <p>If you are seeking a fast-paced, challenging position in an organization committed to achieving and maintaining a standard of excellence in all we do, our organization may be a good fit for you.</p> <p>Schedule: 40 Hours, Days, Full Time, Benefit Eligible</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <ul> <li>Provide the necessary leadership and management skills to effectively supervise personnel and achieve established department objectives in accordance with hospital's mission and goals on a daily basis. </li><li>Responsible for implementing and overseeing workflow systems to facilitate efficient record processing, correspondence, and record completion and ensure compliance with hospital polices and Joint Commission regulations. </li><li>Supports and exemplifies the hospital established standards of behavior. </li><li>Monitors productivity and scheduling of staff. </li><li>Identifies and moderates employee issues. </li><li>Streamlines departmental procedures and controls expenses within the department.The Coding Supervisor will be empowered to make departmental decisions in the absence of the Director of Health Information Management. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Associate Degree in Health Information Technology preferred or equivalent experience </li><li>Experience: 1-3 years managerial experience in an HIM Department preferred, in addition to 7-10 years overall Acute care HIM experience required. </li><li>Certification/Licensure: RHIT/RHIA preferred </li><li>Software/Hardware: Microsoft Office </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Disabled/Veterans</p>
