Find your future with us.</p> <p>Join our Global Real Estate and Facilities Engineering and Technology (E&T) team as an Experienced or Mid-LevelFacilities Electrical Engineer in Health, Ohio. This is an opportunity to be part of an outstanding facilities operation, learn new skills and become a vital member of our dynamic team.</p> <p>You will have the chance to guide equipment repairs through hands-on work. You'll be at the forefront of supporting and planning construction projects by defining requirements and overseeing successful execution. Additionally, you'll play a role in identifying opportunities to enhance our site's electrical infrastructure. You will be working on high voltage electrical and power distribution systems for building infrastructure.</p> <p>You'll be involved in projects shaping facilities engineering here at Boeing. We value innovation, collaboration, and excellence.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provides input to infrastructure planning, completes studies, and analyzes current conditions and future requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Recommends capital improvements and gathers and analyzes data to identify and access alternatives and impacts</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in electrical designs with customer requirements, building codes, and applicable regulations</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in integrating activities of multiple engineering disciplines, outside consultants, and government agencies</p> </li><li> <p>Develops routine conceptual designs, final designs, and cost estimates for electrical phases of buildings, equipment installation, utility systems, and grounds</p> </li><li> <p>Analyzes to determine cause of asset failures and reduction in asset capacity using reliability tools and methods</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures accuracy of drawing archives/libraries</p> </li><li> <p>Translates customer requirements into design options; identifies appropriate materials, equipment, and services</p> </li><li> <p>Estimates resources costs/requirements, identifies materials, equipment, and services, & develops preliminary project schedules to establish project scope</p> </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years of experience reading and interpreting technical documents/drawings</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years of experience in electrical engineering</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in facilities, maintenance, or construction</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working on high voltage building electrical and power distribution systems</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Lean processes and initiatives</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with building and safety codes</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working in a manufacturing environment</p> </li><li> <p>Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license</p> </li></ul> <p>Drug Free Workplace:</p> <p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p> <p>Pay & Benefits:</p> <p>At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
