<p>Senior A&E Underwriting Professional</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>The position can be located in any Allied World US office including New York, Iselin, NJ, Boston, Farmington, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The AVP will be proficient in evaluating, analyzing and determining the appropriate terms and conditions for the various products within the A&E Division. This will include A&E, Contractors, Project placements and Excess placements on all lines. The position will focus, in part, on facilitating and developing producer and insured contacts specific to Architects and Engineers within the ENR 500 group.</p> <p>Job Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <p>Job Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Review and analyze underwriting submissions </li><li>Establish a network of market contacts and act as the lead marketer of A&E and Construction Professional in your territory </li><li>Underwrite to appropriate terms and conditions following the Company business strategy to quote selected risks </li><li>Present accounts to customers </li><li>Price and analyze coverage, structure and exposures </li><li>Authorize quotes/binders/invoices as appropriate </li><li>Attend client/broker meetings as applicable </li><li>Negotiate with brokers and clients for new and renewal business </li><li>Assist in the development and formulation of data/reports as needed </li><li>Ensure that underwriting pricing and discipline are followed to meet profitability goals, complying with underwriting guidelines, systems and procedures </li><li>Attend underwriting audits as needed </li><li>Liaise with brokers, internal auditors and Claims, Accounting, IT and Legal departments as appropriate </li><li>Attend important industry conferences and seminars as appropriate </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>The annualized base pay range is a broad range based on analysis of similar positions in the market. The actual base pay for the position may be above or below he listed range and determined by a number of considerations, including but now limited to complexity, location, and scope of the role, along with experience, skills, education, training, and other conditions of employment.
