As the largest nonprofit affordable housing provider in the nation, we build, preserve, and manage program-enriched housing across the country.</p> <p>The successful Resident Services Manager I will oversee programs, staff, and services at each property in an assigned region following our mission and core values and the national program model for Resident Services. You will be visiting and working at multiple sites. The successful candidate will demonstrate compassion and have an understanding of the complexities of homelessness; co-morbidities; trauma; mental health and substance usage.</p> <p>We encourage candidates with lived experience to apply. This is an on-site position.</p> <p>PAY: $28-32/hour, dependent on experience</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Several Healthcare plans to choose from, dental (includes adult and child orthodontia) and vision </li><li>15 days of earned PTO your first year, 12 company holidays + 2 floating holidays. </li><li>403b + match </li><li>Early close Fridays (3 paid hours each Friday) </li><li>Early close prior to a holiday (3 paid hours) </li><li>Paid Time off between Christmas and New Year's Holiday </li><li>Paid Volunteer Time </li><li>Paid Parental Leave and Care Giver Leave </li><li>Paid Life Insurance </li><li>Free Employee Assistance Plan </li><li>Free Basic Dental </li><li>Pet Insurance options </li></ul> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Locate, develop, and maintain networks and partnerships with relevant service providers, community and religious organizations, business, and educational institutions </li><li>Implement core program/service components as outlined in the Mercy Housing resident program model or other program model as may be required by regulation, funders, and/or special needs of the population served, and oversees progress toward program outcomes at all assigned sites. </li><li>Produce reports and understand outcomes from resident services data; prepare and submit all required reports in a timely manner. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in a related field. </li><li>One (1) year of experience in community development or social service program development. </li><li>Program and staff management experience. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience working with unhoused or formerly unhoused individuals. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Work collaboratively with others in a team environment, respecting and valuing the perspectives and contributions of others. </li><li>Function effectively in an environment with diverse cultures and multiple perspectives and lines of authority. </li><li>Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency of verbal, writing and listening skills. </li><li>Perform basic computer functions using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. </li><li>Demonstrate knowledge in data collection and analysis. </li><li>Effectively motivate and supervise other staff, develop staff skills in support of resident and community programs and initiatives through training and mentoring. </li></ul> <p>This is a brief description summarizing the abilities and skills needed for the position.</p> <p>Mercy Housing is a fair chance employer; while we conduct background checks for all positions, we will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.</p>
