<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Outreach and Navigation Coordinator (Navigator), under the general supervision of the Deputy Director of the Bureau of Refugee Programs (BRP), leads the Bureau's efforts in community outreach and engagement, relationship development, program promotion, navigation support, and communication with stakeholders and resources required to support the successful resettlement of refugees in Wisconsin.</p> <p>View the complete position description.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>The classification title for this position is Human Services Program Coordinator - Senior. The starting salary is between $32.27 and $41.30 per hour ($67,121 and $85,904 annually), depending on qualifications. Pay for current State of WI employees will be based on the compensation plan in effect at the time of the appointment. Pay for current state employees who are transferring will be determined based upon the pay on transfer rules (higher level duties or equity) as outlined in the compensation plan in effect at the time of appointment.</p> <p>The pay schedule/range is 07-03. A one-year probationary period may be required.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>Due to the nature of the position, final candidates may be required to allow DCF to conduct a security background check to determine whether the circumstances of any pending charges or convictions would be substantially related to the job being filled.</p> <p>Applicants must be legally entitled to work in the United States (i.e., a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DCF sponsorship.) The Department of Children and Families does not sponsor visas, either at time of hire or at any later time.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimally qualified applicants will have:</p> <ul> <li>Experience providing, evaluating, and/or tracking outreach to public and private organizations that serve vulnerable populations. </li><li>Experience working with relationship management (building, maintaining, and strengthening positive, productive connections with partners) and/or community development (supporting collective action to improve social, economic, and environmental conditions within a community). </li><li>Experience developing and delivering training and/or technical assistance to providers serving vulnerable populations. </li></ul> <p>Well-qualified applicants will have:</p> <ul> <li>Experience providing direct social services (housing services, case management, health services, English language learning (ELL), etc.) to refugees or administering programs that provide social services to refugees (Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA), Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA), Refugee Support Services (RSS), etc.) resulting in an in-depth understanding of refugee's needs. </li><li>Experience working with housing coordination and utilizing resources and strategies to support the availability of housing to target populations. </li><li>Experience managing the development, delivery, and review of multiple projects independently and within highly structured and regulated environments. </li></ul> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>If you haven't already done so, you will need to create an account and apply online.
