As an Infection Preventionist (RN), you are crucial to providing health and safety to our residents and associates by preventing the spread of infection and controlling outbreaks. You will serve as a strong member of our team to provide the proactive and compassionate care that our residents deserve.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>The RN maintains data and analyzes records or infection incidents and determines nursing home precautions to prevent cross-contamination. </li><li>The RN works with other departments to promote and monitor infection control practices. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current state licensure as a RN, in good standing. </li><li>Has sufficient infection control knowledge base to carry out responsibilities. </li><li>Membership in APIC or equivalent preferred. </li><li>Infection Preventionist certification preferred. </li></ul> <p>Benedictine and our Ministry partners are a non-profit senior care organization founded by the sisters of St. Scholastica that operates on four core values: Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice.
