<p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>Reporting to the Director of Major and Planned Giving, the Gift Officer / Prospect Researcher will manage relationships within the Studio Society, a mid-range portfolio of 300+ donors contributing $1,200-$4,999 annually. This position will be instrumental in donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and retention efforts, both at scale and individually. In addition, this position will use CRM data and prospect research tools to identify and qualify Studio Society donors who have capacity and interest in moving to high levels of giving.</p> <p>Compensation: $75,000 to $85,000 annually (depending on qualifications) in addition to company provided benefits.</p> <p>Hybrid Work Environment: Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to the Twin Cities Metro area and report to onsite office three days per week.</p> <p>MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:</p> <p>Donor Relations (70% of time)</p> <ul> <li>Manage a portfolio of 300+ mid-level donors giving $1,200 to $4,999 annually, classified as TPT's Studio Society. </li><li>Welcome, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward Studio Society donors through personal visits, emails, calls, event participation, and personalized correspondence. Develop and implement moves management plans for Studio Society donors. </li><li>Manage automated and personalized renewal processes, including direct mail and emails and personalized solicitations. Assist in writing solicitations in partnership with external vendors and internal operations teams. </li><li>Input and maintain timely and accurate donor records in TPT's CRM. </li><li>Identify donors' passions and interests, build relationships, and leverage those relationships into meaningful support opportunities. </li><li>Work collaboratively with other Gift Officers to upgrade donors to gifts of $5,000+ and planned gifts. </li><li>Actively participate in the execution of fundraising activities and events, including station tours, donor visits and events hosted by the Advancement Team. </li><li>Communicate the value and impact of TPT while representing TPT to our community. </li><li>Research, recommend and implement new opportunities to support donor stewardship. </li><li>Meet individual goals as well as helping the Advancement team reach annual revenue goal $5.4M. </li></ul> <p>Prospect Research (30% of time)</p> <ul> <li>Utilize CRM data and other modeling to identify Studio Society donors with capacity to upgrade to gifts of $5,000+; present opportunities in regular prospect meetings with Giving Team members and assist in developing strategies to cultivate prospects. </li><li>Partner with Membership Team to identify members giving $1,000 - $1,199 to develop and implement strategies to upgrade to the Studio Society level ($1,200 - $4,999) </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Required Experience</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years of fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector with a demonstrated record of accomplishment with annual giving and major gifts of $1,000 or more. </li><li>Capacity to interact comfortably with donors in person and on the phone. </li><li>Demonstrated success working within a CRM to input and manage donor communications and activities. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of annual fundraising experience with demonstrated record of increasing support to gifts of $5,000+. </li><li>Bachelor's Degree </li><li>Participation in the Association of Fundraising Professionals or other fundraising professional organizations. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, skills, and abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent customer service, oral and written communications, and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Proficiency using a CRM to document and maximize donor relationship management. </li><li>Strong problem solving, organizational and time management skills. </li><li>Ability to use discretion when handling and communicating sensitive information </li><li>The ability to work independently and motivate self to achieve success by taking initiative and being detail oriented. </li><li>Strong analytical and computer application skills: Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, Teams. </li><li>Strong focus on audience and end user needs </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with all team members. </li><li>Commitment to advancing Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) priorities within the organization. </li><li>Ability to travel to locations in the greater metro area on a frequent basis, partake in some evening and weekend hours for meetings and events. </li></ul>
