<p>About The Role</p> <p>Altabank, Division of Glacier Bank, is hiring a Full-time Maintenance Technician servicing all our locations of our division branch network.</p> <p>The Maintenance Technician assists the Facilities & Equipment Manager with facility service requests, scheduled preventative maintenance and upkeep of all division office buildings and equipment and to ensure that all facilities are kept in good repair, are functioning properly and provide a safe environment.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Assists with managing and working service requests and determine necessary corrective action for all Altabank facilities </li><li>Ensure assigned maintenance activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner. </li><li>Adhere to preventive maintenance programs such as HVAC filter replacement, light bulbs, painting/touch up, etc., as required </li><li>Performs minor painting, carpentry, acoustical ceiling work, and masonry work. This includes repair to suites, door hardware, wood working and other special projects. </li><li>Maintain accurate records on Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or other software for all maintenance and repairs to the facility </li><li>Coordinate employee, equipment and furniture moves. </li><li>Ability to work occasional overtime </li><li>Maintain and update CapEx service schedule document for each facility to ensure repair/replacement has been performed and when next service is due. </li><li>Ensures successful completion of assigned facility projects, by timely execution and within agreed upon budgetary constraints. </li><li>Assist with maintenance and upkeep of security and safety systems including, but not limited to, digital video recorders (DVRs) and cameras, access controls and fire/burglar alarms. Ensure periodic inspections are performed and keep organized records of the results. </li><li>Interface with associates in resolving facilities related issues </li><li>Interface with vendors and specialized trade contractors to implement repairs, etc. </li><li>Driver's license required for travel to various locations throughout the bank branch system </li><li>Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. </li><li>Complete required bank training courses within assigned time frame(s). It is the individual learner responsibility to ensure that they understand the information given to them in each training. If the learner does not understand the information given, they need to reach out to their supervisor for further clarification or additional training. </li><li>Adhere to Altabank Core Values. </li><li>Keeps management appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant problems. </li><li>Participate in Community Service and Bank sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of the Altabank. </li><li>Provide superior internal and external customer service: must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy and respect toward external customers as well as internal customers (all organization personnel). </li><li>Represent Altabank in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive "can-do" attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs. Keep work area tidy and maintain customer privacy. Attends and participates in meetings as required. </li><li>Regular and predictable attendance in order to accomplish, among other things, in-person contact with customers. </li><li>Duties can change. </li></ul> <p>About You</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>one to two years of similar or related experience.</p> </li><li> <p>A high school education or GED.</p> </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:</p> <ul> <li>Various degrees of physical labor, lifting, hauling, and moving will be required </li><li>Physical strength and mobility to be able to perform maintenance and repair of systems located at each bank facilities </li><li>Aptitude or experience with building maintenance </li><li>Ability to observe and operate various mechanical systems is required </li><li>A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required in addition to normal courtesy and tact. </li><li>Involves personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. </li><li>Must be able to communicate with management through electronic means. </li><li>Attention to detail is expected. </li><li>Employee must be capable of interacting calmly and professionally with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds at various levels within and outside of the organization. </li><li>Employee must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance. </li><li>Ability to adapt to change (e.g. shifting priorities, demands, and timelines) through time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</p> <ul> <li>May require working in temperature extremes and encountering various environment conditions both inside and outside of buildings </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee may also be required to: stand; walk; and lift or reach with hands and arms.</p> <p>Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.</p> <p>Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: Exerting up to 100 lbs. occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. frequently, and/or 20 lbs. regularly.</p> <p>Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.</p> <p>#LI-JB1</p> <p>What We Offer</p> <p>COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.
